HTC G2 T-Mobile: le prime foto ‘ufficiali’

Il sito cellphonesignal.com ha pubblicato le prime immagini "ufficiali" dell'attesissimo HTC G2 T-Mobile. Il terminale, oltre al supporto alle reti mobili HSPA+, dovrebbe offrire le seguenti specifiche tecniche: Android OS con interfaccia HTC Sense, display da 3.7 pollici OLED, processore da 1 GHz Snapdragon, fotocamera da 5 megapixel con autofocus, aGPS, trackpad ottico, connettività WiFi (funzionalità Hotspot), Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR e tastiera fisica full QWERTY. ViewSonic ViewPad 7 video hands-on

We just got a chance to mess around with ViewSonic’s upcoming ViewPad 7 (one of possibly four tablets they plan to release this year), and while it is indeed a plastic rebadge me-too Android tablet, we mean that in the best sense. Let’s take these one by one:
- Plastic: Ot looks and feels enough like metal / glass that we won’t fault ViewSonic for the cost savings here.
- Rebadge: ViewSonic has an exclusive on this design for its particular markets (Europe), while the OlivePad is doing its version over in India.
- Me-too: This might be the biggest knock, since ViewSonic is dropping the ViewPad into a world that’s going to be up to its knees in 7-inch Android tablets in a few month’s time.
ViewSonic wins points for an above average build quality, better than crappy LCD (it’s not great, but we’ve seen a lot worse, and the capacitive response is just fine), passable processor (a 600MHz Snapdragon won’t win any bake-offs, but it also makes Android 2.2 completely usable in our opinion), and better-than-Augen Google blessing. HTC Desire Z e HTC Desire HD: nuove informazioni

I nuovi HTC Desire Z e HTC Desire HD sono comparsi sul sito mobiles.co.uk, che ha persino pubblicato la pagina delle specifiche tecniche. In realtà molte delle informazioni emerse erano note da alcuni giorni, ma ora la situazione sembra più chiara. L'HTC Desire HD sarà un potentissimo full touchscreen, mentre l'HTC Desire Z può essere immaginato come un Desire dotato di tastiera full QWERTY. Nello specifico, l'HTC Desire HD (conosciuto anche come HTC Ace) offrirà un display da 4,3 pollici di tipo capacitivo, una fotocamera da 8.0 megapixel con possibilità di registrare video HD 720p, 4GB di memoria interna espandibile con microSD, sistema operativo Android 2.2 Froyo, interfaccia HTC Sense, processore da 1 GHz Snapdragon, ricevitore GPS, connettività HSDPA, Wi-Fi e Bluetooth 2.1.

Qualcomm: Pronti in Autunno processori Snapdragon da 1.5 Ghz

Qualcomm, dopo aver annunciato la nuova versione dei suoi processori Snapdragon allo scorso Computex, si appresta a produrre in linea la nuova versione con una frequenza di partenza di 1.5 Ghz.
Oltre ad un clock migliorato, il nuovo processore sarà ottimizzato per gestire display e qualità video sempre maggiori tanto che la nuova serie di processori Snapdragon porterà in dote riproduzione video HD e porta HDMI.
Gli smartphone del 2011 saranno quasi sicuramente tutti equipaggiati con il nuovo processore sopra lo standard attuale di 1.2 Ghz visto che anche ARM Cortex e Intel si apprestano a iniziare la produzione di processore più veloci e addirittura azzardare al primo Dual core Mobile per metà 2011.

HTC Spark: queste le specifiche tecniche?

In rete sono emerse alcune indiscrezioni relative a Spark, uno dei primi dispositivi Windows Phone 7 a marchio HTC. L'inedito HTC Spark dovrebbe offrire un ampio display touchscreen da 3,7 pollici a risoluzione WVGA, una fotocamera posteriore da 5.0 megapixel, connettività HSDPA, Wi-Fi e Bluetooth, 512MB di memoria RAM/ROM, ricevitore GPS e chipset Qualcomm Snapdragon da 1 GHz.
