Xbox 360 250GB plus Kinect bundle priced at $399 in US, £300 in UK

Microsoft has chosen the small hours of the night to announce pricing of its second Kinect bundle, which is set for launch along with the standalone and 4GB options on November 4 in the USA and November 10 across Europe. The new package throws in the 250GB slim version of the Xbox 360 to accompany the newfangled motion tracker and a copy of the utterly unmissable Kinect Adventures! (it has its own punctuation, it must be good). Pricing is a bit on the painful side, with Kotaku reporting a $399 figure for the US and Microsoft confirming to us a £300 sticker for this “special edition” bundle for the UK. Wirefly selling EVO 4G handsets via Facebook again

Two weeks ago, we told you about Wirefly selling the ever-so-elusive HTC EVO 4G handset via Facebook. Well, the company has just sent us a quick email to inform us that they will be doing the same thing again tomorrow. Just like last time, the rules are:
- Sometime tomorrow, Wirefly will announce the launch of the HTC EVO 4G sale on Facebook.
- Wirefly will publish a link to purchase the Evo on the “Friends Only” tab of its Facebook page.
- Non-fans will not will be able view or access the link.
- Those not familiar with Facebook: To become a ‘fan’ of Wirefly, go to www.Facebook.com/Wireflyand click on the ‘LIKE’ button at the top of the page.
Reminder: The EVO will not be available on Wirefly.com. To access this limited-time offer, you must “Like” Wirefly’s Facebook page

Google TV set to launch this year, Samsung considering Android for its TVs

As you’re probably well aware, the Wintermute-like intelligence known as Google has designs on your television. Not only is Samsung contemplating Android for its sets, but Eric Schmidt has stated that its Google TV service is on track for launch this autumn (as a beta, undoubtedly). Finally, Maps on your plasma! Unfortunately Samsung’s plans are far less certain, with company President Yoon Boo Keun offering little more than a “[w]e will have to see, but we are reviewing,” when asked whether the OS will make a suitable platform for coach potatoes the world o’er. According to Yoon, about half of the company’s 3-D TVs rock web browsers, a figure that will only increase over the next couple years. We only hope that if they do go with Android, the implementation is better than that of some of their handsets.

Official: Samsung Fascinate launching September 9 (update: September 8 online)

Put away your leaked Verizon documents, good folks, the Fascinate finally has an official release date: September 9. Verizon’s Galaxy S variant snuck up on all of us with a commercial appearance last night, which was accompanied by that appropriately blown out text at the bottom, indicating it’ll be in stores within a couple of days. That doesn’t leave much time for you to build up fresh anticipation, so hopefully you were able to sustain yours while everyone else was unpacking their Captivate, Epic and Vibrant handsets. Hey, you might be late to the party, but at least you’ll be there. See the ad (minus the launch date note) after the break.
